Click on window above to back into another time and place FOLLOW US ON A SHORT VIRTUAL TOUR The "Pioneer Place " is unusual in that it includes an original hand hewed two story log building , a trapper cabin, and a barn along with a museum. Together they show much of the history of Marilla Township in Manistee County. You can enjoy a tea and desert in the charming Stagecoach Stop log house by appointment. Walk with us back in time and see the "Pioneer Place" consisting of an 1860's fully furnished log house once used as a stagecoach stop at Yates Corners, and early 1900's barn, and a full size replica logger's cabin. See furniture, tools, and furnishings from homes, school, post office, church, businesses and farms of our community. Also included are pictures and artifacts from the railroad, logging and agriculture and Indian artifacts. Click On Window to continue
